It goes without saying, early childhood education is critical in the development of growing minds in their early years. Outstanding preschool education will expose a young mind to experiences that will have an exponential impact on growth and development. Not only cognitive development of a young mind, but positive exposure to an environment that is fun and exciting will support a students lifelong enthusiasm and love for learning. The preschool experience will advance cognitive development and cultivate social and emotional development, building respect, resilience, teamwork, optimism, innovation, and self-esteem through positive interaction with classmates and teachers. Families are encouraged to visit and tour the facility prior to enrollment. While the facility maintains an open door policy, we encourage all families to make an appointment for a tour, as we are a secure campus, and an appointment ensures we meet all your expectations, answer your questions thoroughly and maximize your experiences during your visit. Growing Minds Preschool registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, visit www.growingmindspreschool.org

  • Middle School R.E.C. Program

Welcome to the Dysart Unified School District Recreation Education and Community Leadership (REC) program. REC, is an acronym that touches on each of the critical areas that make-up a positive school experience! We are very excited at the opportunity to serve you and your students for the upcoming school year. From 6AM until the start of school, then again from the end of the regular school day until 6PM, your student will have access to the campus REC Center that includes a variety of recreational, educational, and enrichment opportunities! Through this program, students 5th thru 8th grade will engage in a variety of activities specifically designed to not only promote student growth in preparation for high school, but to also promote engagement in school events, expose them to team building and leadership opportunities, and give them a safe, fun environment to finish out their day at school. The REC program is NOT a daycare program, and for those familiar with the before and after school programs at the elementary sites, this is not Den Club. Students in REC will have a safe place to “hangout” and develop cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills with their friends, classmates, and school staff. From open gym, to study hall, to gaming, to campus leadership projects, REC will enhance the middle school experience for ALL students.

All runners will receive a shirt, sticker, and camp certificate. There will be three levels of running this summer to group the kids: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Once grouped into levels, the coaches will set group and individual goals with their team and work throughout the session/sessions to achieve those goals.
