We want you to be a part of the largest and most fun running camp in AZ!!!! This year we are opening up our running camp to grades 3-8 and adults as well as continuing our high school summer miles program. This is open to anyone in the area, any high schools, middle and elementary schools and any running levels. All participants will be receiving a fun Summer Camp shirt as well as a unique camp sticker. Please read on below to find out more information about the specific levels of camp. 3-8 Elemiddle Camp MWF (6:30-7:30 am) 5/31-7/26 (8 weeks) @SRHS Adult Running Program MWF (6:30-7:30 am) 5/31-7/26 (8 weeks) @SRHS HS Summer Miles Camp M-Sat (6-8 am) 5/24-8/14 (12 weeks) @SRHS/WTRP High School Runners: Summer training is full on this year with 3 days a week at the White Tanks Regional Park and 3 days at Shadow Ridge HS and in the weight room. There will be set workouts and groupings for all levels of runners. Not a SRHS XC runner? No problem. We will get you trained and ready to go for your HS team!! We are serious about a few things: Having fun, training to your level, and challenging you. Our weight program will have specific workouts to improve strength and prevent injury as we prepare for the season. *****All High School Athletes will need to have Register My Athlete COMPLETED in addition to the Community Ed Camp forms filled out. You will have elemiddle XC coaches working with you on running form, increasing endurance, making new friends, challenging yourself, working on good character, and most importantly….having fun!!! This is a great opportunity to get healthier, prepare for fall cross country season, and improve your fitness!! Adult Runners: Whether you are an experienced runner or you are just getting started, we are here to support you. Our goal is to help set you up with a plan, provide an opportunity to run with others, and challenge yourself to whatever goals you have in mind for yourself. We can adjust the days you run and add in other days as well!!! Shadow Ridge Cross Country is committed to improving the community through opportunities building fitness, character, friendships, and reaching goals with our partnership in Community Ed. The structure of the summer program will meet the runners where they are currently based off of age and running experience.
