Dysart Unified School District

Fencing is a fantastic mental and physical sport that teaches competition, respect, and self discipline in a safe and fun environment! This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of fencing and runs for 6-8 weeks. Students should wear athletic shoes and comfortable clothing.

Dysart Unified School District has partnered with the Chess Emporium in order to provide the following after school chess programs. In these courses students will learn how to play chess, as well as chess openings, tactics, and endgames. There will also be optional scholastic tournaments offered this semester for a small fee.

This class takes place at Marley Park Elementary school and is for 6th-9th grade students. The class is by school band teacher recommendation for new members or previous jazz band experience. Please contact Mr Broughton at jack.broughton@dysart.org with any questions.
