Foundations in Personal Finance for High School Students
The American Heart Association's Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

Dysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers an Arizona Department of Transportation approved Drivers Education program for high school students including behind-the-wheel training for students that are at least 15 years, 6 months. Students must have their driving permit in order to receive the behind-the-wheel training. Students who successfully complete the program, which requires 100% attendance, will receive an official Driver Education Certificate which fulfills the state requirement for the Graduated License. The program is offered several times throughout the school year and also during the summer.
The cost for the class is $550 and includes behind-the-wheel training. We do offer a 20% discount for Dysart Employees only. Send us an email, via your Dysart email to driversed@dysart.org to receive the discount code. Each session is 10 weeks long; 5 weeks of lecture followed by 5 weeks of behind-the-wheel*. Summer Sessions are condensed. We have expanded and offer two different lecture options. The traditional Saturdays and now a Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Thursday option in the afternoons after school. Registration limit for each of the Sessions is 28 Students.
Behind the wheel time is scheduled throughout the week and on weekends. You will have the option to choose the time that works best for you during the lecture portion of the class.
