  • Drivers Education Class

    Dysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers an Arizona Department of Transportation approved Drivers Education program for high school students including behind-the-wheel training for students that are at least 15 years, 6 months. Students must have their driving permit in order to receive the behind-the-wheel training. Students who successfully complete the program, which requires 100% attendance, will receive an official Driver Education Certificate which fulfills the state requirement for the Graduated License. The program is offered several times throughout the school year and also during the summer. Each session is 10 weeks long; 5 weeks of lecture followed by 5 weeks of behind-the-wheel training.   • Learners Permit Course

    Dysart Unified School District's Community Education Department offers a Learners Permit Course. This 3 Hour Instructional Course helps to prepare students for their Permit Exam. Students who successfully complete the program and pass the online test will receive an email with instructions to go to MVD with the required documents to pick up their Learners Permit. Prior to class, an account must be created with MVD and the $7.00 MVD Learners Permit Test paid for. Upon arrival to class, the student will need to know their login and password to the MVD account created, their full address, and social security number.
